I had a bad sensor for the speedometer on my 1995 Sea-Doo sportster. I rebuilt and tested the sensor, but I am a bit confused on how to attach it to the existing wiring harness. No matter what I do it doesn’t seem to work. I pulled the speedometer out of, a working GTS with similar results. These old models do not have a temperature sensor. My rebuild included a temperature wire. There are three wires in the harness. Blue, purple with yellow, and black. At the sensor, there are actually only two wires and a shield wire so I presume the black goes to the shield.
Does anyone have a schematic of the rebuild wiring for this 1995 Speedster without a water temperature sensor?
