You should pinch the block drain there where it elbows into the exhaust outlet thru-hull and pour antifreeze into the block inlet until the pink stuff begins to come out the the pump support flush port.

I never did flush antifreeze through my old XP 717 motor, not sure if you can get away with doing that on the 787 motor.

I think it's wise to freeze protect the reed valve motor (951) completely, I think water is trapped inside them, especially the DI version.

97 GTX has a 787. Follow the guide that Lou posted in post #3. You want to fill it so it comes out the tell tale line. If you don't there still can be water in the head pipe. You basically want to fill it to push the air out and see antifreeze come out the back by the tow ring.
 
That's what i've done but a lot of antifreeze was coming out of the rear exhaust. Was it because I hadnt pinched the line?!
 
Yep, gotta pinch the line, it the lowest point of draining from the cylinders. That drain line exits near the rear of the exhaust. You're probably OK, but I just don't take any chances.
