Which is gonna be faster?

ok, i know this may sound dumb but this is going to be my first year on my new to me 96 XP 800. my buddy blew me away last year on his 95 XP 720 when i was on my 96 waverunner 700. i have not ran my XP this year except to test drive it(about 5 mins worth)
BOTH XP'S are fully stock with new fuel lines, fuel filters, oil filters, and fresh oil. THATS IT.
my question is what can i expect from start to finish this year against my buddies 720 and me on my 800? what are some top speeds on these seadoo? thanks

Well my 97 XP 800 blows the socks off the 95 720 and thats with me on the 800 at 250lbs and the daughter on 720 at 120lbs
go tell your buddy to invest in a pair of goggles so he don't get too much spray in his eyes from being behind yours all the time :rofl::rofl:

what are the top speeds for each of the 720 and 800? we both weight about the same

dude, no comparison, if ur ski is up to par...carbs, compression..etc, your gonna lose as a friend....110hp vs. 85hp

well i have riden both the 720 and the 800 pretty rescently. I think that he will keep up with you from bottom to mid range but then you will start to pull away. They both seem close in those ranges but the 800 def has the 720 on the long haul.

sweet!!! now i can't wait to go ride and hopefully smoke this guy. he can be a real prick sometimes about his ski being better than my old waverunner 700. got tired of it last year.
