I have a 93 seadoo xp. If the gas tank is completely full, it runs great. When it's down to half...it dies. If i refill it, it runs great again, til it gets down to half again...etc. etc. Anyone know what may be causing it?

sounds like to me that the sending unit baffle has a hole in it and is sucking air not being able to pull a vacuum enough to suck fuel.

thank you both for your quick replies. I had two ppl tell me tonight the very same thing about the sending unit baffle. Will definetly replace it and let you know if that was the problem. Thanks again

you may not have to replace it if you were able to chase down the hole or leak. its just a plastic baffle and with a soldering gun and some scrap plastic you can "weld" the hole up. it may not be pretty but it won't cost what a new baffle does and it should limp you down the road. just my thoughts
