My seadoo utopia needs a agood cleaning on the hull. We bought it in florida and brought it home to ohio and the hull is dirty from road and salt and stuff. What is the best cleaning agent to use on it. I found some FRS fiberglass remover from Overtons. Anyone use this before or have used anything that really works and helps to restore the color?? THanks

UM i think you want the faberglass on the boat

if its just dirty from the drive home you should be fine with a normal hull cleaner.

Stands I just though of this. I bough my boat last Jan and i had to clean it while it was snowing out. Anyways i looked in the pump intake and it was full of salt and sand from the road. Be sure toget the hose in there and rinse it out good with just water toget all the dirt and stuff out of the pump.

Clean Brite!....

I use this stuff called "Clean Brite"........or words to that affect. They keep it in your local Wal Mart, in the sporting good section where the boat stuff is. I can't live without it.

It's a fairly strong chemical compound so you might want to wear gloves. You take a sponge, wipe it on, let it sit a minute or so, then blast it off with a hose. I was very impressed at how clean my hull came out. I even had the orangeish color water stain, which looked like it was embedded in the fiberglass, but it all came out really clean!...........

Best stuff on Earth

Westleys Bleche-White all the way . I can make a old hull look like new.
was made for white wall tires.
Follow my instructions
Spray full strength on any greasy dirty parts and work in with a soft brush , DO NOT LET DRY then rinse off well . If you let it dry it will make it hard to shine up later .
To clean up a oily bildge , I mix 1 quart in a 5gal bucket of warm to hot water . Then I set up my Wagner Airless paint sprayer and an extention wand just like a pressure washer but now it only sprays 1 quart per minute . I have a pressure washer and a stean cleaner . this works better . The pressure washer sprays so much back at your face you cannot see what you are doing . same with the steam cleaner but worse .
Also When I was in North Carolina I started a business doing this . I could clean bilges and engines while the boats were still in the water. I would set up a shop vac to suck it back up so I could dispose of it legaly . Got $150 for 2 hours work .
I usually bought a case of Gallons at a time.
