What's the best car you've ever had???

mine is my ford lightning .. its super fast handles better then most sports cars and still is a truck that i tow my seadoo with.. also has a blower and the wine is incredible

Some very awesome rides. As far as best car.. that is up to each person. Most fun. Most durable. Best to pick up ladies. Best on gas.. Whatever!

Nice Benz, Tony. SL? A buddy used to have one. I love rods and would so love to build one. Helped a bud mess with a 6-71 on a Camero he built many years ago. Didn't really have to worry about it running as it was for show but it was fun the few times we burned up tires on it.

Keep them coming, I love hearing about and seeing everyones pride and joy!

Nice Benz, Tony. SL?

Thanks

SLK 350. Hard top convertible, and It's a 3.5L V6 with about 268hp/258Lb/ft torque. It's not a smokin' hot ride... but it's fun to throw around.

BUT... the DelSol was a full 1000 Lbs lighter, and was making more HP.

I would have LOVED to play in that Del Sol! Yeah, my buddies was an SLK. Seems like it had 300hp maybe? He traded it for a Beemer 750 li. OMG! That was quite a car! That thing almost drove itself! It would tell you if you drifted to close to the edge of your lane, or when a pedestrian was coming around a blind corner. Had the night vision thing, heads up display, active cruise control... EVERYTHING!!!! Huge car but it could really move! I would love to drive the 760 sometime. V12 twin turbo... I'll be back.. need to go change my peenee pad. ;-)

The Benz's are very nice but there's just something about Bimmers. I've driven the 750 and 760, while they are very nice cars my heart always go back to the 5 series with xi trim. Another favorite of mine is my father inlaws massaged mini cooper with the works package. He's 82 and still can drift a perfect corner.

Yeah, I met one of those massaged mini's on the interstate the other day... And I'm the one that walked away with the PERFORMANCE AWARD! Dam LEO's anyway.... Really surprised me how fast that mini was. Glad I backed off before the GX65 went crazy... lazer is pretty hard to anticipate.

The favorite car that I ever owned was a 2002 BMW m3 convertible. That car was awesome. Wish I still had it. Man that thing was fast.

Hey 470!, good for you!! After all that BMW, Porsche,Mercedes talk I was starting to feel a little light headed. How about a '58 Ford two door post sedan with a 332 cu.in. engine and older 4 speed that would humble SS 396 Chevelles in it's day. Even had poor man's posi-traction courtesy of my neighbor and his welder. Great car wish I still had it!!

I like driving the new iron but will always be old school at heart. As soon as I get this cobra done I will start my search for a 40 willys. I had a lot of good times in the one my dad had when I was growing up.
