It did start to rain but before I tested the battery at 12.38, removed approx. 8 ounces of oil and the spark plugs. Had to cover everything up right as I was about to check compression

I also managed to free up a millimeter or so of play on one of the pump bolts before the battery of the drill got taxed

Here are some pics of the oil, I dropped some on a white background to show clarity and the plugs 1,2, and 3 from right to left
That spark plug on the right is not firing. You were running on only 2 cylinders. Did you ever try just replacing the plugs?

So we need to know this
Was the Reverse cable plastic nut broken before trying to remove jet pump? Or broken during jet pump removal ?
Did you manually open throttle on trailer to get the RPM above 4800 as shown on video ?
If you move the selector F N R to F and move throttle selector full fwd can you turn Throttle Body cable cam Clockwise any more and if yes how much ?

Gary I apologize for being offline these days. Had a bit of a financial crisis I had to attend.

The cable was toast. It actually had large cracks running vertically in the plastic with signs of rust.

I'm confused if I need to be running or if I need two people to do this test?

BTW, these retainers can be purchased cheaply from Amazon or ebay. Just search "Seadoo Cable Nut"
Holy moly, if that is it I will luck out big time. I believe the nut was broken because it was filled in with glue which likely is what trapped it in the first place.

My only issue will be getting that nut and jet pump bolts in a timely manner.

That's a great observation and could most definitely be part of his problem, but I'm not sure that would contribute to his issue of not hitting max RPMs? Maybe the throttle cable is also bad as he was able to open and hit max RPMs when operating the throttle body by hand?

He should easily be able to see if the throttle body is full open and maxed out when the throttle lever is pushed all the way forward. He could test that out now.
Ok I will try this asap its pouring out right now

Just put it together and put it in neutral. Walk around, make sure the reverse gate is mostly covering the pump. Next put it in fwd. The gate should now be lifted off and not be obstructing the pump. Neutral and reverse simply redirect the jet of water.
