Be sure to flush the engine, burp the throttle a couple of times, and use fogging oil.

That boat was probably smiling like a butcher's dog when it saw that lake. Then you teased it by backing down the ramp and then pulling away!!! First ya make it sit in the driveway like a lawn ornament for 3 months then ya tease it at the lake. Man, I would not want to be you the first time that boat goes in the water. That boat is gonna F with you something fierce. Boats have longer memories that women. I hope you at least gave it a good wax job when ya got er home, a little lake mist might a blown on er. Better change the plugs again too.

Right, and check the compression and post some pics.....(Sorry, I just had to get in on this)...... :) :)

i forget that thread, was that the honda civic issue ? panic mode ?

i dropped my challenger in the water down a long steep ramp yesterday, and had no issues pulling it out with an older lexus es300, none at all... (of course I have an exhaust leak so i didn't make it far :) )

An exhaust leak.....you better go to Jakes bum doctor to git that fixed up real soon :)

Yes, that was the Civic towing issue thread.

ya actually i'm a 'tad' puzzled over that problem, it doesn't smoke when out of the water, BUT when its in the water, after about 15 seconds there is smoke, and LOTZ of it !!! coming out from the bottom of the pipe, the only thing i can think of is that is wasn't sealing properly,, pulled it off, reset it, reclamped it, and still same problem, it was smoking like crazy !!!
after 3 attempts in the parking lot to get it to seal properly, i gave up and decided that maybe its not the seal, but the pipe itself :(
maybe the pipe has a pinhole or hairline crack that doesn't start to smoke until the pressure builds up,

i have a spare pipe that's in excellent condition so i'm going to try that next.
