The outer jacket is good. I was wondering if the cable could be repaired. Many years ago I built a street rod, for it I had a speedometer cable custom made. It was similar, but of course larger cable.
Repairing is an idea I'll look into. I have a couple issues to deal with. The cable is broken at the point where it connects to the throttle lever. At that point is a steel shaft that actually makes the connection, not sure how to deal with that. And the cable is actually a "Y" cable. It has one cable that goes to the carbs, and splits on the other end going to throttle lever and trim lever. Not sure if it will come apart at the "Y" for repairs. Worth a look though.
