Took out the ski's today. All fun and games until wife gets hurt

So my wife and i took out our ski's today. First time riding in the Galveston tx area, Bit windy with 3-4ft swells. She was riding her waveraider 700 and i on my 96 xp. Hers started to bogg down and stall out so i let her take the xp... Yeah that ended badly for her. She got a bit throttle happy and hit wave and came down a bit weird. she grabbed a hand full of throttle again and some how submarine the bow of the ski throwing her off. she has sworn to never ride the xp again after that.
