To service or not?

I have recently purchased a 99 challenger 1800. I plan to take it out this weekend a few times. The seller claims that he has had it serviced once this spring. Should I take it and have it serviced/checked? Is this something that can be done easily by someone with no motor experience? Is it possible to tell if it has been serviced?
Thanks so much

That's a hard question...I would get the information from the old owner as to who serviced it and call them up and ask what they did to the seadoo. Ask if it was serviced and tested as the old owner stated, and what recommendations for the seadoo they have for future repairs needed. Ask what past records they had on any service performed with dates ect....than go from there. Get back to us and we'll give you our advice.
