Sponsons??

Hi guys im new here and was wondering about sponsons on my ski. I have a 2006 GTX 4-tech. If i was to remove the sponsons would it make the ski very unstable? i was told by a friend that they stop you conering to sharply. Also can you get beter sponsons to aid in the handeling of the ski? Thanks

Sponsons help Stablize the boat YES!!!

If you remove them the boat will "Slide" around corners and have nothing to keep it from rolling.

Aftermarket SPONSONS will make it ride like it is on Rails!! Beachouse makes some.. (or at least they did.)

Riva makes them... id check them out. If you do anythin id remove opas, witch will improve you handeling at higher speeds

Whats OPAS? so if i was to remove the Sponsons the ski has a higher chance of rolling? ill have to look around down here in Aust for some aftermarket sponsons
