What is the difference between Speedster and Sportster from 2004-2010 4-tec 155 hp engine ?
It seems that only in name ?
How many hours can reach these engines (1.5 155 hp) .
Standard common faults and failures.
What can man do with this boat, puling tubes, skiing, how many people can take and expected speed !
I wanna buy one so make info..

More or less... yes, it was just a name change. There were some changes in the engine... but they were both the same type, and power.

If the boat is running correctly, it will pull a tube, knee board, wake board, or skis. A single slalom ski will be a little hard... but it can do it.

As far as how long will the engine run??? that depends on how it was treated before. I would think a non-supercharged 4-tech should be able to get into the 400hr mark, if it wasn't abused, and all the maintenance was done. BUT... I've seen them give up with less than 100 hr's because the owner would run it hard, and not take care of it.

but I just wondering about yamaha vx110 sport ,
In may area they make 5-6 years in rent over 700 h without engine repair,
or on better place make 800-1000 h in a three years with half engine rebulid (pistone rings....).
only jet propulsion service every 2 years (bearings etc..).

Jets drive (work) in salt water and pull it out every night on beach.
On the end of the day man wash engine inside - outside with normal water .
Thats all and oil service, engine is without any speed limitation all this years.
And season in sea last about three months.

Thats how its work in my area.
