Hey guys just wanted to post this because it helped me and I'm sure it will help others. As some of you know from my resto post i bought a beat 95 xp800 and have been restoring it to its full glory. The hull had incredibly bad stains and most of all fade (Chalk). I used Meguiar's M77132 Heavy Oxidation Scrub with a wheel brush on it and it removed about 70% of it!!! I then removed the remaining fade with Meguiar's d300 correction compound and a microfiber cutting pad. The ski came out mint and when it was naked (no stickers) you couldn't even see where they were at one time. Just a tip hope this helps someone!

Also used the same process on a customers yesterday. I don't have a before as i forgot and I'm kicking myself but it was so bad he couldn't believe I saved it. He even bought a stripped hull so I could transfer everything! Now he has a hull for nothing lol

The customers took 4 hours and the 95 took about 2 1/2 to restore the finish and 30 min to lay the decals

That looks really good considering the process used. Has an anyone tried this on a white ski? Just curious I think on mine I ended up with 5-8 hours after all the sanding required to get the yellow out of the white. Curious if this method holds up to other color/oxidized hulls as well. Almost seems too good to be true! Looks amazing, great job!

I am going to snag some of this stuff & try it out on the hull of my ski *faded green hull/chalky* once I get it up and running properly! Thanks for sharing!

D300, eh? Been meaning to pick some of that up. I'm still rocking m105. Works well on super hard paint....or gel coat. Used it on my ski the other day.

Nickj That has to be the cleanest garage I have ever seen!
I love the Ski in the plain yellow and black! With black res numbers it would look too cool.
