I am from KwaZulu Natal in South Africa.
I own a company that contracts to the municipalities to do disconnection, reconnection, removal, installation, inspection, audit and tamper logging of services ( water and electricity ) in the areas that they won't go into.
It is fun and a swear I have heard just about every excuse there is.
Myself and my guys have had everything from being threatened to guns being put to our heads to even a couple shots taken at us.
I wouldn't change it for anything else as it is fun being out in the rural areas instead of having to sit in an office allday.
