Well, SEA-DOO, it's not you, it's me....

I've loved and babied all the skis I've owned over the years. Since 1993 I've owned or had access to a ski.
25 years of tiny quick boat ownership and use.

That's a long ass time given my current age ;) Our first one.... I was 10. You didn't even need a boater's license or anything. I don't even think it was insured. Man 1993 was a simpler time.

In any case, though the years I've owned, parted out, restored, and had a metric crap ton of fun on these things. But things get older. and fatter. and softer.

With work, hours, and ever competing resources, and having used my skis all of TWICE last summer :(. I know, my fault....

I must bid them goodbye. As I have other areas in which to spend my time and money.

To that end, I have some amazing skis for sale, and am including TWO metric crap tons of stuff with them!

FOR SALE - 2002 SEA-DOO GTX & XP 951

I wish I had more time with them, but the reality is, the are just occupying space at my house.

Would love to see them go to a loving home!

You've got one of the ultimate combos and they are stupid clean

Thanks. They are largest and last carb 2 stokes. The XP keeps up with any 'modern' ski off the line as well...

I'm sad to let them go, but what good is owning skis you just look at?

I plan to go for a ride Tuesday night!

Last spring I put all new bunks on the trailer too, with all new hardware that was 2x the size of all the original bolts! I basically up-sized all the hardware to make it stronger. Also enamel painted the trailer black to match the skis. and have a nice carpeted section for sitting/getting wet suit on/etc.

Even the trailer tires are balanced... yeah... I'm that guy. lol

Well kids, these things generated a TON of interest. Maybe I should have asked for more?

And, as of today, they are SOLD.

I take one last heart breaking shake down run on Monday, and the new owner picks them up Tuesday.

Haha nice try! Your bit and you'll be back. At some point in oldness and softness your gonna say "hey I ain't dead yet" and "this electric car don't braaaap". This is just my hope and optimistic suspicion.

You have been a great help to many, a huge asset to the forum. I hope you still pop in from time to time.

I am almost in the same boat... or ski.... Ours only went to lakes twice last season. But one was for a whole week. It is still worth it to me to keep them just for that week though.
A big thanks and good luck to Sqrl. A true asset here. I learned a bunch and enjoyed his entertaining posts.

No worries, whenever I'm bored I'll stop by :)

Thanks for the praise. I enjoy the sport and like to fix stuff :)
I've learned more about the Mercruiser 350 and Bravo One that I ever thought I could during the past winter...
