Okay I hope I did this right. If I did then you should be able to see a picture of two exhaust gaskets side by side for comparison. After a long spell, I think I have most likely found what has been the problem with my power falling way off when going in a sharp turn. Most of you are by now familiar with my dilema. My 1995 Seadoo 580GTS had not been running right in spite of every tuning trick I have tried with the carb. Though I cant be sure until I go back to the lake I believe that I had installed the wrong gasket on my 'doo. I would not have found this had I not decided to switch back to the stock exhaust setup instead of the coffman's aftermarket exhaust. Well the stock system is back on now and I cant wait to go and try it out. I hope this does the trick. I thought I would pass this along as it may help someone else down the road. I will post an update on how things turned out.

Got a chance to go to the lake today. Good News! The issue with power loss in turns has almost completely gone away. Can't be sure if it was the switch back to the factory pipe or the gasket swap with the larger holes. Regardless, it runs much much better now. There is still a small drop in turns and it does slow a bit, but nothing like before. It no longer feels if it will die on you. I am now considering a prop change down the road, so I can really cut up some waves. Any suggestions?
