Seadoo XP ltd (1999) have TPS? Wires to identify

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself, I'm Stefano and I write from Trieste, in the north east of Italy.
I have recently owned an XP LTD (1999 carb) and am bringing it back to "new".
At this XP all the oil injection part has been eliminated (tank, pump are no longer there) and the flange has been put on to close the hole on the engine. The two wires of the oil alarm are connected together so as not to have the red light always on on the gauge.

in the place of the oil tank I found 3 wires not insulated and not connected to anything. From their colors, on the electrical scheme they would seem dedicated to the TPS. See photos.
I believe this engine (carburetors) shouldn't have TPS.
Can you tell me what they are for and if they should be connected to something?
I thought they were part of a universal wiring for other models too but I can't explain why they ended with soldering and poorly insulated with electrician's insulating tape!

The TPS on these are integrated into the throttle cable and the factory service manual shows how to set it. It actually changes the ignition timing at about 80% throttle and without it you will never reach full throttle rpm.

Yes there should be a connector at the end of those wires to plug into the Throttle Cable. I'll take a look at what I have. I may be able to post a picture for your. Good Luck !

ok
thank you! the photos would be very useful!
PS i have original camdoopro programmer

perfect! all clear!
From my XP the box with the TPS sensor was removed when they removed all the injection of the oil (tank, sensor and pump). By incompetent !!!
Without the TPS sensor the engine turns very bad? Can you be damaged?
Because I have just replaced the gas cable with a new single long cable and I should just buy the new cable with the sensor, change cable and remove the cable that goes to the oil pump (which is no longer)

Without the sensor, the engine may not achieve peak performance. However, in reality, I disconnected mine once as a test, and it didn't actually seem to have an impact.

I would at least give it a try as is. Then report back what occurs. My understanding is it's more of a switch than a true sensor. It puts out 5v or doesn't based on what position it's at. Micidymac is correct.

sure is a switch. Probably inside the box there is a reed contact (microswitch) activated by the magnet which is connected to the movement of the gas cable.
It would be very useful to know the meaning of the 3 wires.
Could someone unplug the TPS and test the wires for me? in order to understand if inside the "sensor" there are also resistors in series or parallel? it sounds strange that there are 3 wires if it's just an on / off switch.

3 wires would be A contacts B at under 80% throttle and A contacts C at 90-100% for example. Only and example so don't jump the wires that way.

A few seasons ago when I was testing my ski - I unplugged the TPS for a test... It made no difference that I could tell.

The factory service manual has the wires identified. I think it's ground, 12v and the other is 5v on/off.

On the Service Manual writes that the voltage to be measured on the wires is 0 or 5Volt.
Probably a wire brings the 5 volts to the switch, a wire brings the 5 volts from the switch back. The third thread could be a ground but it doesn't make much sense. Can anyone disconnect the TPS and measure both motor-side and switch side?
Engine side We will find voltage, switch side only contacts.
thanks

measured by Fluke multimeter: (motor side)
black: 0 volt (to ground)
purple: + 10 volt
White/brown: + 5 volt

i need the tsp (sconnected) side measure (ohm)
Steve
