Seadoo xp 2001 951 Carb issue

Hi peeps, i went out today and ski decided to shit itself, at first it just died down to what seemed like she was running on 1 cylinder, whilst putting on back to the beach, she died completely, no power. Ounce home i found Main fuse next to the Coil packs blown, replaced, blew again.

Any ideas?, thx. Glenn

So in follow up, found some time today thank god to pull off the magneto cover, found bits of debri inside cover, overall pretty clean, but checkout that chunk of metal pertruding the stator lol. Im hoping this is causing the electrical short.

Off to purchase new stator coil tomorrow. Will keeps yous posted incase some poor fella has similar issue down the track.

Ok so in follow up, I have replaced stator with aftermarket New item, fuse is not blowing now. Engine turns over, but no spark. Grrr lol. 951 carb XP 2001

Solution, Yes shes running Now. Found the New stator, aftermarket plug and play type stator comes with pickup coil had to much of a gap between pickup and magneto. Solution i found was to cut it off and solder on pickup from original OEM stator. Did the trick, shes running now, hope that helps anyone who may come across this issue.
