I have a 95 seedoo gtx and about and last summer when you gave it throtle it would jump up and then go down to alittle above idle. we tried everthing from cleaning the carborator and changing the fuel filter. nothing seemed to work untill we switched it to reserved instead of normal where it would take all the gas and not leave a reserve tank. and it work fine like nothing was wrong. now this summer we took them out again today still useing the reserve and it started acting up again. any ideas on what it could be. fuel pump, fuel lines, other fuel filters? i have no clue and none of the seadoo dealers will servise them because of there age.

It sounds like you need to remove the carburetors and clean them. If you're careful and don't tear or damage the diaphragms you won't need to buy a rebuild kit. Pay attention to the internal filters too. If you have gray fuel lines you need to replace them with black fuel lines available from auto parts stores like Auto Zone. Measure the length you need and bring a sample with you so you get the correct size. Replace one at a time so you don’t get them mixed up. If you need clamps replace them too. Use small stainless steel clamps also from the auto parts store. I hope this helps your problem.

you also need to free up or replace the anti-siphon valves in the bottom of the fuel tank. the main stuck shut on you last year. that is when reserve only worked good. mark the 4 lines-pull the whole unit out of top of tank. you will see the pickup valves. try to suck through the line-you can't. niether can your carbs. soak them in carb cleaner. usually frees them up.
