Seadoo Only Starting with Gas poured into engine

Hey everyone looking for some help on my 2001 Seadoo GTX-DI that I just bought, I bought 2 of these skis on marketplace and got one of them running by changing out solenoid, the other ski still not starting, when I pull the plugs and pour some mixed gas into top of engine it will run fine for a second and then start to rev really fast and i always turn it off because I dont want to hurt the engine, there was one time where i did this and it started and idled for a minute just fine but sounded rough, not sure if it’s a fuel problem or even a oil pump problem, anything helps thanks!

Well if it will only fire when you add fuel then you have a fuel problem.

Stay positive but you couldn't have picked a worst ski to lean on than a non-running DI seadoo.

First thing you are going to have to check is fuel pressure. gtx di fuel pressure test

I would also check compression on both skis to ess if they are worth saving. 130+ psi is perfect at 110 psi they are done.
