I have a friend with a Seadoo Wake. It is a great PWC, but we took it to Lake Powell last June and had issues sucking up floating items from the water.
Since the rivers are running full & fast that time of year, there was a lot of debris in the water and we were cleaing stuff out of the impeller several times a day. Since this requires taking off the existing inlet grate, it was a big production and obviously we risk dropping parts in the water during all of these operations.
We would be happy to give up some top speed/power if we could put a screen on the inlet that would prevent some of the debris from getting in the ski..
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
