I just got new oil line from a rep pwc source and clamped the line to the nip I then later took it off to check it and noticed the clamp actually cut into the line I checked it just to see if it did just that glad I did. Anyway I cut it back and retried it seems to cut in even if you barley tighten it I did notice that the line is softer than stock but I paid $40.00 for it so I would like to use it. Is it possible to use Thomas and betts zip ties in this type of situation or should I source some less evasive clamps. Thanks for the help!uploadfromtaptalk1394647412170.jpg

I'm going to say NEVER would I use a cable tie on the lines going to the RV. I would reuse my old oil line as long as it's in good shape and return the $40 tubing.

I use either fuel clamps like on a lawn mower or preferred is oetiker clamps, also that line can be picked up at home depot.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I ended up using some stainless fuel injection line clamps, they seem to clamp evenly and don't mare into the hose. I'm not sure why the line I bought is so soft but I'm stuck with it the pwc store stated that it was better than oem stock seadoo tubing so I ended up buying enough to redo the tubing on both motors and tank line and it's non returnable.
