I just got new oil line from a rep pwc source and clamped the line to the nip I then later took it off to check it and noticed the clamp actually cut into the line I checked it just to see if it did just that glad I did. Anyway I cut it back and retried it seems to cut in even if you barley tighten it I did notice that the line is softer than stock but I paid $40.00 for it so I would like to use it. Is it possible to use Thomas and betts zip ties in this type of situation or should I source some less evasive clamps. Thanks for the help!
