Hey thanks for any help/ time you guys can give me

symptoms
-rough low - mid range acceleration, almost feels as if it's missing in a cylinder
-runs super smooth after 25-30 mph
-replaced spark plugs

The owner before this ski said he hopped it up with a new impeller and who knows what else. After getting past the rough stage of about 30 mph this thing is a ROCKET goes 70mph+. Could the rough low end be caused by a high speed impeller? Thanks for any help this is a new ski we just picked up...

Those dash spedo's will say anything...
It sounds like it is not jetted correctly or the carb might need to be adjusted. Take a plug reading to see what the plugs are telling you. Depending on what has been modified would determine what the problem is. Some people change the spark plug wires and call it modified.

It actually does go 70mph. We had it out with an '06 honda turbo model and this thing smoked it on the high end. The honda was going ~62 mph. The speedo on the gsx gets buried past 70mph... What kind of tool do I need to read the spark plugs?

brian, go take a gander at the ski, then report back, as to what all the ski has...pipes, intake filters, carbs..etc. This way, the forum have a better understanding and help out, to tuning it.

Alright! Sorry for the delay had business trip to Canda. Looked at the ski and as far as i could tell exhaust intake etc.. was all stock. Ski was still running rough in the lower 0-15 mph. It also keeps fouling spark plugs in the piston nearest to the rear of the skii, I'm thinking this might be related? Any help is appreciated Thanks guys!

Also before I purchased the ski I had a shop to a pre-purchase check. They told me everything was good compression was around 150 per cylinder I believe
