Quick "choke shot" required after idling...

Hey guys,

On my brothers '93 SPX Twin Carb - when it's warmed up and he has idled for like 30 seconds, when he goes to take off again the machine just bogs down. Pull the choke quickly and then hit the throttle and she takes off without hesitation. Again, this is only necessary if it's been idling for like longer than 30 seconds...you know while he's making fun of me for struggling to get back on after getting dumped in the drink.

He bought it from our old neighbour who said he had to do the same thing. Though, our neighbour thought it was a primer and not a choke.

I doubt the carbs have ever been done. Any suggestions?

Cheers!
