prop clearence

Would anyone know what the clearance should be between the prop and the wear ring on a Berkley 6JA pump? This is on a 1969 Sea Doo. I just want to know if I have to machine a wear ring for it. It has about .007 thou. now.

Did you by chance get a manual for the seadoo yet? .007 Isn't much clearence. I'll look around for the clearence you need to be in spec.

No, No manual yet. The best I could measure is about .007 Perhaps a little more. The last time it was driven the guy was driving it up on the beach so there is some scoring on one side of the barrel and a little on the edge of the prop. It doesn't look bad but I want it as close as possible because of the shortage of power.
