Lake Jocassee is right on the SC/NC border but I don't see a place with a bunch of cabins at a reasonable price. I wonder where the Jestski Junkies stayed? Looks more like a bunch of vacation by owner stuff when I google lodging.
No thanksThe campground is $150 a night? That's high end! Sounds like they take advantage of being the only place to stay nightly on the lake.
That's my only fear is crazy busy and expensive for folks. Otherwise I don't know much about it.Lake Norman is awesome. That's where I usually ride when I want to jump. There's some massive boats on Norman! Finding a place to stay on the water might be a problem tho. Best bet would be to throw in on a huge house. There are some mansions on Norman.
I'm down for TN too. I've been on a couple lakes there testing jetskis and they are awesome lakes

This doesn't look bad imo free lake access /docking
If im able to swing it, thats gonna be my game plan as well. Traveling Thursday and Sunday, ride Friday and Saturday. So far I like the first place you posted a link to on lake gaston the most. Number of different size cabins and houses that could be split. Some of the houses were right next to the water. All looked close to the water with docking access.Oh and this time I think I want to drive Thurs and ride Friday and Saturday leave Sunday maybe after a short ride
