Start a resto thread for your ski. Lump all your questions into one thread. I can migrate your other threads into that one. It's so much easier to keep track of one thread vs 60 for the same ski. I've been here almost 3 years now, I only have 40ish threads that I started. I'm on my 4th resto thread. I just see to many questions in like 4 threads and it makes it difficult to remember who answered what. I'm not complaining, just trying to keep it easy.

Thanks for your reply to my painting question. I'm sorry if I broke any forum rules by posting too many questions. If I decide to restore my 98 SPX, I will take your suggestion to heart. Please realize I am not as talented and knowledgeable as you and others here that have done excellent work bringing back these older 2-cycle SeaDoos. The Restoration threads are literal goldmines of information on all aspects of these machines, but they tend to be more tutorial than inquisitive and interactive in nature. I am far from qualified to teach anyone anything about fixing SeaDoos. If I see a question I might know something about, I'm willing to help where I can, but with my limited knowledge in this area, I have to be careful my good intentions don't do more harm than good misguiding someone.
While I appreciate that it might be easier for you to keep track of one thread vs 60 for the same ski, as a member, I would hate to have to plow though threads tens or hundreds of messages long to find the answer to a single question about one model ski. Many SeaDoo models are similar in their basic structure and problems arise and can be solved on common ground across models and years of manufacture. So someone not interested in restoring a 1998 SPX might be helped, or could offer help, on a question that crosses many models. If all members posted all their questions in one thread each, the forum would be practically useless for members.
Again, I apologize if I've broken any forum rules or tribal customs. I will try to limit my questions and the number of threads I start. If you have issues with me in particular, I'm welcome to discuss them in private. Else, if you have any suggestions to painting nozzles, I'm sure more than just me would benefit from the answer.
I don't know if you were referring to me specifically, but I have only posted 25 threads, not 60. They were all posted in what I believe was the right section with what I felt were relevant subjects so people with similar concerns could easily search and find them.
