Hi everyone,

I signed up to this forum seeking help on this one particular topic.

I serviced my 2013 RXP260 myself last week and unfortunately after riding on the water for about five minutes an engine warning light came on. I had it towed back to the boat ramp just in case, after reading on the forums it looks like I over filled my oil (had it on full when dry and was about 1cm above the full line after riding) I have now drained the oil and started the ski again however the engine warning light is still there.

Any suggestions?

I am guessing I may have to the run the ski for about 5 minutes or so before the light goes away? Or do I have to have the error removed some how? Would disconnecting the battery reset the error?

Thanks in advanced!

Pull out some of the extra oil. Disconnect BOTH battery wires and touch them together. This will discharge any capacitors and normally resets the engine light. Put it back together and go for a ride and see what happens.

Thanks! I will try this tonight and see how I go.

FYI, over filled 4-tec engines run with less performance and often will throw a CHECK ENGINE. You do NOT want to be over filled with this engine. Some engine don't care at all. They way the block is designed the 4-tec does care. Creates extra internal pressure and then has issues.

It didn't work, the error still appears there, I drained the oil right down to a quarter, any other ideas?

I noticed now I am getting P0325 as the error

inwas under the impression you had to take it in to the seadoo dealer and get the error cleared by the laptop.

When you say you drained down the to a quarter...what does that mean? How much oil did you drain prior to changing?
