Hey guys, I have a 2003 gtx non supercharged wake edition 1500.

Last week while riding the oil light came on for a couple minutes. Checked it all was fine, actually changed the oil a couple weeks ago and ran it afterwards all was well. Ran for 5 min light came on. Checked everything restarted and was fine for an hour.
Now I’m on vacation w my ski and light came on again happened twice where I’m able to restart and ride fine. But now it won’t go past 3500 bogs down and oil light comes and stays on. Oil is quality 10 40 synthetic Motorsports Valvoline.
Any suggestions on how I can reset the main light without pulling the ski and getting to a dealer and do u think that the main light with the oil = oil change time but just needs reset to work?
Is the oil / a pressure switch or pressure sensor and how can I bypass it to keep it going. On vacation with the whole family and dead in the water with the ski.
Any help much appreciated
Thanks

Ok, I’ve done some homework and found that it is a switch and not a sensor, so I will be able to test that tmrw. Can also just jump it out or even buy and put a new one in for $20. But my question is if “maint” is required will it keep the ski in limp mode or is it the oil warning that’s doing it?
