Hey guys,

I recently just purchased a Seadoo Challenger, no complaints so far and running very well! But all of sudden my bilge and NAV lights are not working. However, my exhaust fan is! Very weird. Was hoping you may have some insight as to why one is working and not the other two? Thanks in advance...

Have you checked the fuses? Not sure about challenger as I have a speedster, but fuses are located under the hood above steering wheel.

I know with my boat several of the switches either worked, didn't work, or sometimes worked. I found out I needed to take apart the switches and clean the contact points inside the switch. Make sure you take them apart inside somewhere you won't lose the small springs and what not. Also, try and remember where everything goes.

There is also a very good electrical contact cleaner called DeOxit that can be sprayed into the connector and switch as long as you can get on the contacts then just work it back and forth. It will not harm the electrical parts or plastic.
