New speedster owner, question on cover.....

Bought a speedster 2003 16 footer, only saw the cover once, picking up in a few weeks if the snow melts! Question, we relized when we got home the ratchet for the oem cover is on the wrong side for our lift. Can this be easly moved to the other side?

Your boat can only go on the lift one way? I would think that it would be set up as a universal cover. I don't know for sure because I haven't got one, much less seen one. But, I might have to look into it. I'm getting tired of these cheapo boat covers I buy that don't last anytime before they are shot!

But, I was wondering, if the ratchet is on one side, to get it to the other side, could you turn the cover inside out from the way it's on now. That would be the easiest way for the cover to be universal..........but, really, I have no clue.:cheers:

Is it a factory cover. I have the same deal i put the cover on then stand on the sunpad area and ratchet it. You could also just back the boat on the lift depending on the syle of lift you have???
