$625 shipped here in the states. This is fresh just shipped from them last month and it comes with the installation gasket set.

As far as I know all the engines are built the same. The "premium" engine is just code for selling you more warranty. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'll get the sbt #'s if anybody wants to call them and ask about it. I got it from a boat repair place that must have had a falling out with the customer after ordering it. The date on the box says 8/3/15.

I was trying to determine if I could swap it out with my 717 GTI engine

The standard versus premium is the cost and the gaskets and oil for break in and install. Engines are the same. Oh, and the soft core calendar they send.

Would this be a straight swap for a yellow 587 using all the same parts? I don't know the difference between the 2 besides color.

There are some differences with the two. It could be done but the flywheel covers are not the same so you would have to drill and tap holes. The water routing is different also I believe. I remember running into the yellow front cover being in the way of the exhaust or something

If your really serious then I'm willing to include some needed parts. I have not messed with swapping around these early engines for some time. I would Google up some old threads of what people have had to do and how it worked out.
