Hello everyone! i am new to the forum and i'm from pittsburgh, pa before the winter i bought a newer ski, (2008 RXP-X) it had 90 hours on it so i took it straight to the mechanic that has always worked on out 95 xp. (still have it) and had him go over the whole ski and rebuild the SC. the guy said the ski ran great and gave us old parts from the SC that he replaced and said good thing we got it rebuilt it was about to go! stored the ski in a heated garage. The lake i use the ski on was having work done to the dam and the water level was lowered over the winter. they just had the water level back to normal and allowing powered vessels on the water the weekend before the 4th. well being that the ski was new to the lake it had to be checked and measured by the police and then had to submit the registration. So the 4th was the first weekend i tried using the ski. put in fresh gas and a brand new battery, then launched. the ski started right up idled out for about 60 seconds and gave it some gas and it started to struggle, then died. wouldn't start back up. let it sit for an hour has i went into town and bought new plugs. installed those.. started right up. 60 seconds later sounded like it was struggling and it died. went online and ordered new coil sticks. today i installed new coil sticks and another set of new plugs. same thing... ran for 60 seconds and died. i'm guessing next would be fuel injectors, fuel filter and so on! wish me luck... i joined to research and see if i could find anyone else with this issue. mostly i'm finding that changing plugs solved the issue but not mine. Toys...gotta have them, PITA when they break!
