I just bought my first seadoo boat. 2007 Challenger SE 230 with twin 215 rotax. It's a little weathered but I'm pleased with the deal I got. The gas cap has been lost cause unknown but I can't seem to find one on any of the parts sites. Any idea on how to get one? Also I would like to replace the drivers dash faux wood panel as it is greatly weathered, any ideas on how to get one of those as well. I found the cover for the radio side but not the drivers side

Have you checked fleabay(ebay) they are usually pretty good for having that kind of thing at least for the fuel cap

Original parts from Seadoo they probably want to sell you the complete filler neck assembly for 120 bucks.... Have you looked for a universal fit cap from west marine or similar? I am not sure on the dash panel. You could try your local dealer to see if they can dig up that part number.

Thanks I will look at west. Was hoping to get OEM but will take any that will work. Is the "filler neck assembly" going to contain the cap as well

I am not sure I was digging around to see if I could find out but I did not have any luck getting a list of exactly what is included in the assembly.

I have 2010 Challenger 210 SE and it has the same fuel filler neck assembly as your 2007 230 (verified on BRP's parts catalog). I took a close look at mine and it's a Perko model 540. It's stamped on the black part of the filler neck on the boat exterior. You could contact Perko and see if you can order a spare fuel cap.

FYI, you can find the parts catalog here: http://epc.brp.com
Find the part number for the faux wood dash and then google the part number to see if you can find anyone who has it for sale.

Thanks for the part listing. The part is called the dash fascia part number 204471172 and it is listed at $1003. That's a little extreme for a piece of plastic. Any suggestions on cleaning one up ie trying that headlight restorer stuff. Thanks for the perko info that helped.

Hey NOLAeyeMD
If the dash is just faded i could look at redoing it. A lot cheaper than buying new panel.
There are many water transfer kits available and they are reasonable easy to do. then clear coat it with an enamel clear spray that you can get at any car parts store.
Ive used this kit previous and found it pretty good, not on a boat though..

They have lots of designs. Think the carbon would look awesome.
