NBA Finals

I'll probably tune in for a few. Should be a good series.

Not the ending i was hoping for, but it was a good game till the last 5 min. Its ok spurs won game 1 last year too.

Yes, but I'm a Florida transplant. And I never ever was a bandwagon jumper, (like 80% of heat fans presently are) I was born in Chicago, i'm a Bulls fan, whether they suck or not, I'm sticking with them :)

I've disliked the Heat for 20 yrs, and the last few especially Wade, who IMO flops on Offense and Defense multiple times every game, I could only imagine how long it would take to play a game of HORSE with him, since he'd land on his azz during every layup, every 3 pointer, every jump shot, I'd always be picking him up off the floor and it would wear me out.

LOL, cant argue with you on WADE he frustrates the hell out of me too.

The good suffer with the bad i guess, Ive been a heat fan since i was 9yrs old, seen more bad times than good and don't like bandwagon fans either, and really don't like the national perception that all fans down here are the same. Last night was embarrassing, people were booing in what could be the final home game of the year. That would never happen in Boston or Chicago. I remember 2 yrs we were down 3-2 against Boston in the ECF, Lebron had that monster game in Boston and that place was packed at the end with chants of "LETS GO BOSTON" as their team walked off the court for the last time.

As far as the series goes i think were cooked, the spurs are playing incredible right now i cant see how the heat go in to San Antonio and get a win.

Yes, agree on the fan's, I don't want to lump all of them together, since I realize there are some hard core loyal fans that stuck with the team even when they were terrible. I've been to the arena quite a few times and I always enjoyed the arena, but had issues with the fan's, they showed up late, the stadium was half full at best, etc, although honestly I think almost every Florida team suffer's from non-loyal fans, baseball, football, basketball, even hockey. Far too many transplants that didn't grow up loving the team, so they are not willing to stick with them during the dark years.

Yes, i think MIA is cooked, however any team with Bron Bron has a chance IMO, he's just a fantastic basketball player, so I'm sure that SA wants to end this immediately.

good finals... Congrats to the Spurs, the better team won.

The media is Hyping up the whole "what will the big 3 do now" question, and honestly I don't see that as a real big question, if I was a heat player I'd be content knowing that I have a real great chance of being in the finals next year since the east is weak. The only reason I can see one or more of them opting out is to extent their contract guarantee's, not sure if they could opt out and still stay with their current team, not that well versed in the NBA's CBA, although I'm sure their agents are familiar with the options :)

With Hockey and Basketball over, the sports talk will focus a little bit on the World Cup and then unfortunately go back to being completely dominated with the subject of Football. (Which annoys me even though I am a fan of the sport, but get tired of the year round discussion)

The better team won for sure, they put it to us. Could have easily been a sweep if they make some free throws in game 2.

All three can opt out and HOPEFULLY resign for less money so the team can add some good pieces around them. They can also look to go elsewhere but the heat would have to sign off on it and probably get something in return. I think your right though with a really weak east and the potential to play in south beach with future HOFamers many guys will want to come play here, which should make it easy for the big three to stay put. A big question mark for me is Wade, he looked finished this last round, i think the heat need to sell him the hardest to take less money and consider becoming a sixth man ala Manu Ginobli, so the team can infuse some young talent to the roster.

Totally agree on the football stuff. A couple talk radio shows here locally have been talking Dolphins even while the finals were going on.

ya, exactly ! nothing against football, heck, i have two fantasy teams, but the constant football talk offseason drives me nuts ! (and don't get me started on Mel Kiper, every dam day he was on ranking the best TE's in the draft, the best offensive guards, etc)

I couldn't care less about FB honestly until preseason starts, but obviously the marketing analysts think that everybody else cares more about Miami's Dolphin's offensive line in volunteer rookie camps than Basketball/Hockey Playoffs.

I must be one of the few that don't give a dam until the season starts.

Time for the annual bump.. Lebron's at it again. Who wins the NBA title?

My prediction:

Warriors Sweep the Cav's !

Sounds like you've been drinking too much of the Haterade and sad that the team he left is sitting at home :). Lebron is just playing on another level, him and the cavs will get it done. You can't help but root for them, Cleveland deserves a winner. It's freaking Cleveland, we gotta give them something

Warriors in 6. This is the best offensive and defensive team Lebron will face so far, Arguably in the last 5 finals. I dont like the way he left MIA( for the record i didn't like the way he left CLE either) But i have nothing against Lebron, he put our team on the map, and is the best of my generation.

My exact thought, hope Warriors win it all, after a great season, they deserve it

Warriors take it and Lebron is now 2-4 all time in the finals. ouch. :puke:

The rest of the cavs team besides lebron was garbage. That team on the court would be lucky if they weren't the worst team in basketball if he wasn't playing with him. I give him a pass. MJ wouldn't win one with that team...put Love and Kyrie back on the floor. They win easily I say, hell they still made every game close

I enjoyed the series, watched every game, warriors deserved the victory... Cav's probably win if healthy. They have some bills to pay in 2016, I wonder If they decide to pay Love, not sure he's needed.

WE Cleveland Sports fans have a saying:
WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!
One of these years we will take it all!
