My son asked an interesting question.

We were riding at the lake today and my son asked me an interesting question, he asked. "Dad why does the 96GSX sound like an old Evinrude and the 96GTI (with the smaller engine), sound like a Hemi." I think I know the answer, I just thought it was funny. So has anybody got the answer.

I don't think either sound like that. I think the "X" sounds like a sport bike... and the "I" would sound like the Evinrude.

Anyway... it probably has to do with the RPM range, and the RAVE's.

It has to do with the waterbox... The x has a large waterbox with more baffles and the gti has a small waterbox with less baffles.
