Most likely thursday thru sunday for us.
The first thread was to determine time and place. Now we need to get a house nailed down so we can talk about ski preparation and performance.

I like the first one. It has that beach we want. I like the boat ramp on the second one though but if the first one is close to the Landing I think I should hit them up, right?

Damn.. According to the calendar on VRBO its booked now. I was going to say lets make it happen. I could possibly get some friends to come stay earlier in the week to offset the cost and meet the week criteria. Sounds like we need to split into a couple houses real close to each other. That way we wont scare owners off saying we have a bunch of people staying in their house. I really dont see the problem but I guess they hear jetskis and think we are going to destroy the place. Too bad The Landing is so small, they were perfectly fine with us riding skis out of there and partying
I've been listing 8 or 10 adults on these places that say they sleep ten. I also say, "my wife and I are coming and I'm not sure how many others will actually show up". When I mention Seadoos they must think we are like the "smokers" on Waterwolrd lol.
There is something else I've noticed. The "per night" price is just a portion of the cost. The one that was listed as "$300 per night" came to over $1400 for three nights when I got a quote. They all have a booking fee, maid fee, tax, etc. Obviously I was thinking $900, not $1400, that's a big difference.

Iirc the staff at the landing said there was another hotel about 8 miles away.

Yes there are quite a few hotels close by in Mooresville. Right off of exit 36 on 77. I guess that will be a last resort kinda thing. I'm sure we can find a house!

Don't blame you. I look forward to the skis and the good people. I don't really care enough about fancy living conditions to pay a lot more for them unless it encouraged last minuters to make the drive and crash the party. Staying around Seadoo enthusiasts in a Bar/Rest sounds good.
