Do we have have an actual boat coming?
You trying to hurt my challenger's feelings? She's as much an actual boat as the rest of them.

BTW, I'll try to remember to stow a gallon of premixed fuel in case anyone runs out, but I don't have a place for more than that.

Heck no! I just meant not a ski, glad to have any watercraft no matter make or creed or jet drive :)

I don't discriminate.

Definitely wish I was able to join y'all for this. Especially since I live only 30 minutes from where you're meeting and both my skis are ready. Have fun!

Waxed and ready to go.

I'm 2 hours out but have been nursing a front wheel bearing going out for the last 80 miles. It looks like ill have to stop and change in the parking lot at the next auto parts store [emoji19]

That sucks. Remember that we have NC members around that can help with a rescue mission if needed. I assume you are just about at the NC border?

Thanks! Well i found an autozone and got the parts. Duralast unfirtunately which i dont trust but they didnt have the Timken bearing/hub. I had no chance at getting the axle nut off with a breaker bar so the little shop across the street squeezed me in. Great guys and should be back on the road in 20 or so!

Great! Hey, don't let that tie down pull off your corner bumper!

See ya tomorrow.
Haha yeah that was an earlier issue. Trailer bunk broke right in front of the rear bracket. Had to move the skis all the way back and change up the straps to make my bunk band aid work. Trailer tongue is too light but ill replace the bunks sometime this weekend.

Stinks but all working out. This truck only hauls boats/skis/mulch and the like. 50k in 11 years so cant complain i guess with small maintenance issues.

I have some pressure treated 2x4s in my garage now for planned bunk change. Do you want me to bring down a couple and a saw?

I'm in Raleigh if you need any tools or anything ankeneyou
Thanks! I think im covered now. Ive got a ton of tools in the truck incliding 18v impact to swap bunks. Just need to stop by lowes for wood/carpet. Really appreciate the offer!

Hmm i may take you up on that if i cant find a lowes or HD. Happen to have a staple gun? Really appreciate all the help, what a great group of guys!

I am pretty sure my hand staple gun works. I also should have enough carpet to get you through. Just let me know what you need.

Staple gun, ss staples, carpet, 2x4, and hand saw should do it. Ill get you cash for the materials and buy you dinner and some beers!

Back on the road already, 90 min from the landing.

Y'all might see me on 40. I'm leaving Raleigh now. Decided to go ahead and hit the road. Got everything finished up at work early.
