And we're ready!!!! Went up to mpowers lake house to get his fuel system back together, adjust his double trailer for baby skis instead of 4 tecs, and then test out the skis.

After a minor hiccup with his it ran great. Mine did good once I burned out all the fogging oil. Upside is in that cove they won't have mosquitoes this summer for a while. LOL!

My wife will be there also. She will probably ride for 20 minutes a day and be done. She will be more interested in having some beers, laying out, and socializing. Im thinking about swapping out the GTI she would ride for another x4 since she wont really ride anyways so id have a backup.
 
Woooo bouys on stock sponsons, should be fun haha. Wish I could bring my other 95 800, it's setup for closed course.

Lucky! I have a big presentation to do in Elkin nc on Friday, then drive back to raleigh and THEN come down to charlotte. Thank you work for making my life that much harder.

Why not drag your stuff to Elkin with you? Elkin is just north of Norman.

Oh wow, just looked at a map, and you're right. It's only an hour drive. I'll have to coordinate it with the wife, but looks like that's the plan for now. Maybe the presentation will end early [emoji3]
 
Yep, this is odd weather. But it keeps changing. It is very possible that whatever they think will be here this weekend will not be here until the following week. The forcasts around here are not that great until a couple days out.
 
I know, it was 39 this morning at the lake. Last week it was like 87 for a few days. The El nino thing has really been screwing with our weather. The wind has been blowing like crazy for 2 months. Soccerdad is correct they have no clue about the weather until 2-3 days out. Last Saturday was supposed to be clear and sunny all day and by 3 oclock it was straight clouds and the wind was blowing 30mph all evening.
 
Oh man, weather.com predicts rain all weekend :facepalm: I've learned to not trust them so much, they tend to be wrong A LOT. Regardless, I'll be sure to bring the bimini and hope against lightning.
 
I swear the weather forecasts are almost never correct, I left my house for the lake last Saturday and the sky looked apocalyptic, got there, 20 mins went by, sun came out, rode all day. I leave the house and ride in just about any condition.

Yup I'm not sweating the weather. Sat they said it was a 0% chance of rain. It rained the WHOLE way home from mpower's lake house.
