We all will definitely ride and hang out together. I figured we'd all meet up at the landing and ride out from there

My concern isn't so much about the ride, but the hanging out and grilling BS'ing in the evening.

I learned a bunch at the previous ride and don't want to miss out if we are in two different "camps".

Does someone mind digging up the map that was created to show the location of "What a view" as it relates to The Landing?

Also, any updates to who is bringing significant others / kids?

Quick map I made to show the houses I listed in reference to one another

1 - The Landing
2 - Expensive new house - https://www.vrbo.com/4118519ha#
3 - "Fantastic Lake Frontage" - https://www.vrbo.com/304714#
4 - "Waterfront Cottage" - https://www.vrbo.com/620859#
5 - "What a view" - https://www.vrbo.com/598068#
6 - Dream house w/big beach
7 - where they usually set up buoys

Here you go.

Here is another view. As for kids/others most of that is in the spreadsheet we added a link to in the first post.

That one is booked and was too expensive for a lot of people. What a view does have a ramp but we'll need a beach cart since its only partially paved.

That place looks perfect. Close enough to drive to from the landing. Even 2 miles is walkable. Also close enough to where I will be staying. It has a gas grill too. I would be happy to help cook! Also can get meat and stuff from Costco or Sams. This is coming together well. Now just need great weather!

I picked up 12 new buoys for the meet so we can have a huge course, cant wait! I talked to the Landing and theres one water side and a road side room left just in case anyone needs a last minute place to stay

Well, I don't think I'll have time to get the two skis ready for this meetup. I have a weird plug fouling issue on one, and a mystery engine problem (I think it's seized) on the other. That's not even counting the other issues that always seem to crop up at the start of each season. I haven't even looked at them since last September, what with the boat project taking up all my time. So I've made the decision to just bring the Challenger. Add me to the "Bringing a Boat" list.

Sweet. We'll have a bunch of skis so you'll get to ride. I still have the 95 xp that I took to the meet last fall as well

WOOT! Less than a month away. Talking to Mpower I think we both realized just how little time there is until the meet. Weather is JUST now starting to get "warm" enough I'd consider any riding, so hopefully that holds from here on.

I've already put 2.5 hours on one of my XP, been out 3 times in the past 2 weekends, you guys are behind!

You crazy! It's just now getting to where I'd consider going near water.

Its actually not bad at all, as long as its sunny youre good to go. I wear a shirt under my life jacket, but otherwise, shorts and sandals!

Will be at falls lake both days this weekend too getting the XP dialed in.

What ramp?

What ramp?

six forks ( upper barton creek ) is where i'll be. They have a little side "nurse" dock to chill and that has less activity than the docks at each of the 4 ramp lanes. Its a fun ride out to the dam and back.

I may also be at the ramp on hwy. 50 ramp of falls lake sunday, my neighbor prefers it, its not free but 6 bux is not bad. I just prefer six forks ramp as its closer to me.
