It has been a really odd winter. We had a day of snow, and a cold day or two every week, then warm, balmy, and foggy most of the rest of the time, with a periodic day or two of warm, clear, and sunny days. Supposed to snow again next week.

Is the weather odd all over? Or is it just acting strange down here in the south?

The water hasn't gotten very cold, and I feel that my boat is in storage for no good reason.

I gotta pull it out and get it wet :hurray: Maybe this next weekend...

The weather has been strange here too...just Warm and Sunny...Oh, that's right I live I the Sunshine State.

Winterizing is overrated!!!!

I plan on hopefully getting a tan tomorrow going sailing....not bad for January!

I'm certainly not going to complain

I might get a burn tomorrow, but it will be either wind burn or freezer burn.

Today is 80 (record high for this day, by the way) and tomorrow will be mid 50s high. A front is coming through that will make things quite different tomorrow.

I am amazed that Florida doesn't get these...We even get them at the southern tip of Texas in Brownsville.

At which point on the map do the cold fronts go "wait...hold up. We can't go any further or Karl and Joe will get upset with us!"

I think the Gulf helps Florida out a lot. They have to fight against water that is 'warmer' than any cold front'. and usually I think we also usually seem to have a high pressure system parked either over Tallahassee or Jacksonville and that blocks most of the nastiness from really getting too far, but It has snowed here, so it was not always so warm (Jan. 9, 1958. A measurable snowfall occurs in Pasco County. ) and for Tampa as well Jan 19, 1977

If this ever happens while I am here, there is NO WAY :auto: I am going out. We don't know how to drive in nasty rain...:driving::willy_nilly: Snow would be a COMPLETE mess.

Stop talking about sun and boating.... BLAH!!!!!! Also if i was in florida and it snowed, i would run out to my car and do donuts around every one lol. Best part of winter is driving ah! so much fun. I love doing big slids through intersections and the good old 180 parrell parking Oh and FWD backwards donut are a super fun way toget dizzy:cheers:

Oh i also saw a florida driver yesterday very scary and he was driver a new $x$ nissan suv, i really wanted to tell him toget off the road LOL....

Lol. Silly Floridians. I'd hate to see them driving in snow. They are terrible on sunny and clear days....
