I have never moored a boat before, I usually just launch into the sea every time we want to go out but to be honest with 2 kids now that is too much hassle.
We want to moor this boat at Loch Lomond, A freshwater lake just outside Glasgow drom march to october.
Any tips on making sure it doesnt sink and is always ready to go?
Do I add a second bilge pump, do I wire the bilge to bypass the battery disconnect so its always going?
should I fit a solar charger?
Is it advisable to fit a cover?
Gsm water level / battery monitor alarm?
any common places for leaks that I can give attention to over the winter?
I dont think I will get it in the water over winter.

Get a lift and a poppy cover. If possible a lift with a canopy in addition to the cover. Also never hook any solar or trickle charger to your battery while connected to the boat.

I dont have that kind of money.
What about wiring the bilge pump and trickle charger before the disconnect so the boat electronics are isolated?

You can do that or add an independent battery. I would say a very good cover is minimum but let's see if someone that has experience mooring for long periods chimes in.

I have never had a problem with leaks, my sportser is on the water all spring, summer, and fall, never had any issues. During a storm I turn the battery switch on just in case the cover is blown off.
