Just pulled the trigger on a 2012 150 Speedster 255HP.

yeah the other modes just aren't showing up. Hitting mode scrolls through the menu showing eco mode, then settings, display etc; no other modes.

I've been doing some digging online and I've come across the B.U.D.S. software that the dealers use. within that program i've looked at the "Update Database" and the most recent update is "2012 Speedster 150 Instrument Cluster Update". It's my guess that some units were shipped prior to being updated with the additional functionality.

I just got home from the dealership. I took the boat in for the 10 hrs service. They updated the ecu and now I have cruise mode and dock mode.

I'll post an update when I take it to the lake and try both modes out!!!

Took the boat out yesterday and tested the cruise mode and forgot to test the docking mode, lol. The cruise mode works fine!!!!

I seriously need to buy hydroturf as well. I'm just not sure on the colour. Having a red Speedster SK I'm thinking Red would be cool...but it's a tad TOO red for me...and too bright? I also liked snow camo., but too sketchy to gamble. May just get the same dark grey so it's not too dark.

How's working out what? Well, either way everything is fine. I love the Boat, I already have 13 hrs!!! The other day we did some kneeboarding and some tubbing and it was awesome. We had a great time!!!


Here's my 2011 BMW. My wife drives it most of the time. The car is really nice and fun to drive. It has a sport suspension and paddle shifters. Although is not as fun as my old 350z manual I miss that car...

You can never go wrong with Black HydroTurf...
We are required to have the vest in the boat, you don't have to wear it unless you are in the tube or board. However I like wearing mine because it protects me from the sun and because I like to jump in the water and just float without any effort. The lake where I go is usually 100ft or more in depth.

Zmonster, boat looks good. I put black HT on my orange speedster as well. I have seen some out there with color matched HT, and it looks a little extreme but kinda tempting. I sometimes wish I had done orange, but the black looks really good too. I've seen some red speedster 200s with grey HT and they look hot too. Hydroturf just adds so much to the look, I hunk it will be hard to go wrong.

Dammm nice toys.. and I was getting worried for me, I just bought a vert, 2012 328i alpine white with black interior, sold my X5, also bought the 2011 speedster new just 4 weeks ago..

Yeah, HT is really nice. I thought on Orange and Grey too but went with black to be on the safe side.

Good deal, what a great idea, how many times have you taken out your speedster?, I only took mine out now 3 times, and all I put is 5 hours (supposedly that's what the computer says). I was going to take it out today, but my kids flaked, so I'm taking it out to castaic lake next week with a bunch of friends...

I did an online reservation for the F150 at uhaul, lol, $19 dollars a day, I cancelled rescheduled for next week, but I hate paying monthly for my boat if I'm not taking it out...
