Is the 587 cc engine strong enough to pull a ski,tube, or wake board?

I just bought a 1994 Seadoo gts with a 587 cc engine, do you guys think its strong enough to pull a skier, tuber, or wake board?

Yes... but not with authority. The other problem was the old GTS hull was kind of flat, so a skier will pull you around.

Hey there! I've got the same machine and it does OK! I've only had it out a few times but it's far from a turd. The guy I bought it from said he pulled tubes and skiers regularly. I didn't take my GPS along but 40 mph seems about right. i want more but don't get me wrong it's truly a BLAST!!!
