What are those little glass things? One of mine is broken, i put solder around it when i fixed the fuse but im still only getting one bar short of a full reading * not that i care, since i acutally have a fuel gauge and not a beep anymore* but im wondering if theres anyway to fix it or if the glass things are more complex than just a peice of metal going across.

I have been out of commission due to an infected index fingernail on my right hand(It was the size of 2 fingers wide!)...sorry...I can't type with one hand as I type 85 words a minute but need 2 hands...( some words you can read too...lol)

For your problem, solder isn't magnetic...if you need to make it more replace the guage...you can't repair the guages they are sealed...open them up and there junk.

ahh sorry i hear you on the pain.. i got a piece of rusty fence under my big toe nail (never walk into a garden with sandels haha) and ripped it up pretty good so its swollen and bloody.

but as for the gauge, those little glass things are actually something important that i can't jerry rig?

Eh, oh well, its only one thats broken. Just means it'll never read a full tank, just one bar short which i can live with.
