I have a chance to buy a 1996 Xp and a 1996 SPX with trailer. They are both in VGC . Always been in fresh water and dealer cared for. I would like to know if these are tipsy? Can they be deep water boarded like a 97 GSI. I sold my Hx because off the tipsyness. I can get them for $3300. Any input soon is greatly helpful.

2 seaters....

They are both 2 seat models, kind of on the same platform as your HX. The only difference is that the XP will be easier to work with because it has a stronger engine. So that even if it's a bit tipsy, the throttle response of the 787 will give you that control on the nozzle to keep you from dumping so easy. The SPX is using the 717 motor, which is a bit weaker...........

But, you may want to hear from someone who owns one. I do not. I'm just looking at the specs on it and making an educated guess.........

96 xp

i have a 96 XP with the 787cc and i love it i have rode a SPX and i didn't really care for it i rode the 96 XP and i bought it the next day. if that tells you anything. The xp its so easy to get 60mph and it has a smooth ride.
