I have a 2022 GTR230. I replaced the wear ring with a OEM replacement and still had cavitation. The old wear ring had grooves worn in it. Now Ive replaced the second ring with an aftermarket one and still I have alot of cavitation plus top end speed is down.
The impeller has a tip broken off, maybe 3/16" is gone. Could this be the problem?
Im tearing it back apart friday and checking the carbon ring this time.

Yes, any imperfections will throw the impeller out of balance which is what will cause the cavitation. Rebuild or replace the impeller and the wear ring again because it is probably not good due to the cavitation.

How I didnt realise this is beyond me? Thanks for the info
