If you put a tarp over your boat/skis for the winter, read this

Just want to give a warning of what happened to me today. If you tarp your boat use caution when removing it in the spring or in the middle of the summer in my case... Started to lift the tarp and got attacked by a swarm of bees who had built a good size hive under the flap of the tarp. They gave me a real ass kicking, then I returned for round 2 with a can of RAID. They got me again but I took an awful lot of them little bastards down with me.

Did you save them for supper?

I was worried about that too... but I had the tarp pulled so tight... nothing got in. I only found 5~6 stink bugs in my boat when I uncovered it.

Jake Jake Jake. What are wives for if not for these kind of jobs....

ma and pa both come a runnin cuz they said they heard a little girl screamin. I didn't say nuthin bout them bees. Just said I didn't hear nuthin.

Well to be fair Jake I read somewhere here that your Ma and Pa dressed you up like a little girl when you was a young'un so's they
probably thought that's who was screaming anyway....

I'm going to miss my garage for this exact reason..... Moving sucks. But the four walls are mine! And the roof too! No more renting for me!

Lama I weren't born yesterdee. pa brought me up right and taught me bout womenfolk. The wife was busy shingling the roof, so I figured I'd put the boat in the water so I could sit in the boat and watch ta make sure she was doin it right.

But then how would she bring you your beer? Can she swim and hold the beer above the waterline too? If so, does she have a sister?

I have a feeling this story may be concocted, who would wait until mid-July to uncover their boat? Is Pa really that far north?
George Bush's fault, Global Warming or some BS like that. just put the skis in yesterday for the first time. The bee hive was not Inside the boat. I had the regular boat cover on, then a tarp over top of that. The edges of the tarp were tied down but not all tight against the boat. so the hive was outside the back of the boat but under the tarp
