I want to add the Doo to the boat trailer

I saw a boat trailer, that someone had added about 10' to the tongue. This was to facilitate launching alone. Puts the boat into the water, and leaves the truck on the good concrete, so he would not spin tires getting out.

Now, I have a bass boat, and a sea doo.

Have you ever seen anybody add a space in FRONT of the boat, and put rails there, that allow you to carry 2 skis, and a boat at the same time?

IT really seems like a handy thing.

Just looking for ideas, before we start doing it.

I would like to see what you come up with. I hate that I can only take my boat OR XP out, and would like to be able to haul both.

I saw a guy last week doing exactly this, but he put his doo in the back of his truck...great...if you have 2 or 3 strong buddies with you, but not great if just me and the wife.

Would it be legal to put a second trailer ball on the back of the boat trailer and drag the doo behind it?

scoop...if you had the appropriate driver licence, then, it only work if you converted the first trailer to 5th wheel or gooseneck set-up, then second trailer no problem with tag hook-up.
Nate..funny you brought it up, b-4 dump'n my boat, me and brother-law were gonna build trailer, so 1 ski front and 1 behind the boat, kicked my butt to spend the 300buks just for gas, roll out to river,..anyway was the plan, however did see at Lake Mead, (cool idea), but he cut his boat trailer behind "V" part, sleeved it inside to box in, then stretched few feet, reattached "V" part, but added few feet, and wala, turned ski at angle, to keep inside wheel fenders...

Trailer.......

You don't have to worry about building one, you can buy it. From the description, it's a sailboat trailer. They have extendable tongues so they can get deep enough for their keels to clear. Most of the time, if you see one going down the road, that tongue is retracted inside the center of the trailer. Then, when they get to the dock, they can set the brakes, un-pin, then pull forward, pulling out the tongue.

I couldn't see doing that on a permanent basis though. You'd have to move the wheels or some other way to displace the weight.......or it would buckle in the middle when it hit a big bump.......and bounced that weight.
